Selection of school teams

Selection trials are conducted in all the games for students, who are interested in age categories under 12, 14, 16 and 19. Outstanding students are selected from school teams to represent JIRS team in various CBSE / State / National and International competitions.

The school teams in various categories are given special training in the morning from 06:00 am to 08:30 am under the supervision of qualified coaches to participate in various tournaments.

Awards and honors

The school identifies excellent performers in each discipline with best sports man award and honors them during annual sports day. To encourage budding talents, promising player in each discipline are awarded trophies. Individual champion in each category is awarded with trophy in the annual athletics meet.

Progress Monitoring System

The school has a special system of monitoring each child progress in sports. The progress of each child is meticulously recorded and monitored periodically to assess the progress or regress of each individual. The quarterly reports and annual reports , performance and achievements are being updated and posted on website so that the parents can keep track of their child's activity in sports.

Special tests are periodically conducted and recorded by the concerned coach in each game and where ever guidance is to be given the child is individually helped. Every activity of the child whether it is parade, swimming, physiological changes, health report, strength and weakness, achievements and learning and practicing of game skills are recorded and monitored.
