To identify and acknowledge talents and good qualities in students, a format is circulated amongst all teachers who observe the students on daily basis and identify their strengths and weak points. The complied assessment sheets are handed to the convener every Saturday and a select group of students are awarded Gold and Silver Stars.
Stars of the Week
To boost the confidence levels and communication skills of the students, a boy and a girl are chosen on a weekly basis and are designated as ‘Stars of the Week’. They are asked to address the assembly for the next five days continuously on various aspects such as self and family, life in the dormitories or school, what they would like to be and how they plan to go about it.
