The Alumni Meet

The Alumni Meet 2010 was held on 11th June 2010 at JIRS campus. This was the second Alumni Meet of JIRS, which was attended by 50 Alumni.

Many of them could not make it though they were very keen to meet all their teachers due to their other commitments. Each one of them who came enjoyed & cherished old memories, visiting their dorms, capturing their friends with the camera.

The day began with the alumni registering for the meet.

The school prayer was sung by the teachers with lighting of the lamp by few alumni. Collesseum was filled with excitement till afternoon. The fun games planned by the JASE staff were enjoyed by all the alumni present & also the staff participating with them.

Children wanted the old style of being served by ‘Annas’. They had a sumptuous lunch served at ‘Annapurna’ dining hall. After a break of an hour children had outdoor games played matches with the staff.

Evening tea & snacks was at the pool area. Children enjoyed the diving, swimming too. The evening cultural programme was at the Sprintoor. Video clippings of some precious moments of Alumni at JIRS were shown after musical programme by Mr Agni. Mr Diwakar & Mr Shyam Deep. Mr Mahek Bheda enthralled the audience by the dance performance.
The newly wedded couple Mr. Mahender Bafna & Shwetha was congratulated with a bouquet by our CEO Wg Cdr Ganesh Sharma.

The dinner spread was very tempting to the palate & everyone enjoyed it. All Alumni were given a memento before they left for the day. Few of them stayed back at JIRS to enjoy the happiest moments in the dorm. On 13th June they had breakfast & departed with good memories singing “Chalte Chalte Ye Din yaad rakhana, albidha na kehana”.
