Children's Day

The first festival of events to commemorate the successful “DECADE” of Jain International Residential School was flagged off on14 th November 2009, which was also to celebrate the children’s day.
Curiosity of children to know what will be in store for them for the day was at its peek till the morning of 14 th November 2009, Saturday.
The programme was as follows:
6.30 am - Wake up call: All the staff assembled at Sreeniketan Dorm at 6.15 am. Children’s day wishes were announced with melodious wake up songs which was heard throughout the dorms. Teachers visited the dorms & woke up the children with chocolates. Children assembled in front of their dorms as the teachers served them coffee. Everyone enjoyed the coffee instead of the milk that they drink everyday.
8.30 am - Breakfast: After breakfast, children were surprised when they received a sheet of coupons that they could use for fun games and in food court.
9.30 am - Inauguration of the FETE: Master Yash Thakkar of class 6 dressed like Chacha Nehru with all other children gathered in front of the collesseum. Junior children inaugurated the FETE. The staff led the school prayer in the assembly. Chairman’s greetings were conveyed to children by Chief Operating Officer Mr. Rudra Sharma & the FETE was declared open to the children.
9.45 am to 12.30 pm - Fun games: The Coliseum was packed with full of excitement. The JASE staffs were ready with interesting fun games. To create an atmosphere of fun fair coupons with currency denominations which were given to children to be redeemed at the fun games & food court counters. Children were excited playing Tambola, fishing the bottle, throwing the ring, hitting the shuttle in Barrels, Balloon Shooting, hit the Wicket & many more……
12.30 pm to 2.00 pm - Lunch at the Food Court: Yuuummmmy baby corn manchurian, pav bhaji, footlong poori bhaji, dum biriyani, noodles & brownies with ice cream were relished by everyone.
4.00 pm to 6.00 pm - Movie show: The movie “Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani” on students popular demand was screened at Sprintoor for all children & staff.
7.00 pm to 8.30 pm - Chat Dinner : Children enjoyed their favourite chat dinner which included Bhel puri, Pani Puri, Masala puri, Fried rice, Fruit chat, hot jalebis & they had a feast.
8.45 pm to 10.30 pm - Grand show by the staff - This was a hit show for the day!!!!!! Children were tremendously happy & emotional when their teachers performed songs, skits, fashion show etc. This day will be definitely a special day which will be cherished & remembered by our children all through their life.
