Jain International Residential School focuses on providing its students an outlet to continue their sports training program as they would have at its campus in Bengaluru. With the school campus being temporarily closed due to the global health situation, the school seamlessly transitioned to a virtual model of conducting sports training classes for students of all grades.
One such example to quote is Mr. Prince Thakur, a squash coach at Jain International Residential School. Mr. Thakur regularly hosts online sessions that feature yoga classes, fitness activities, squash theory tests, demonstrating different racket swings and serves. Om Jariwala, a class XII student and a squash player, says, “The online sports classes are scheduled in the evening, giving us ample time to wind up our academic sessions for the day and commence our training. I am thankful to my teachers, coach, and staff at JIRS for helping us stay fit at times like these. “
Sports being an integral part of JIRS, and the school features seasoned sports specialists and trainers and an elite sports curriculum with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
