JIRS Celebrates Annual Day ‘AFFLATUS 2025’, Showcasing Creativity, Culture, and Holistic Learning

JAIN International Residential School (JIRS) celebrated its Annual Day, AFFLATUS 2025, on 23 December 2025, marking a vibrant culmination of the academic year through an immersive showcase of student talent, creativity, and holistic education. Held on the JIRS campus, the event brought together students, faculty members, parents, and guests for a day-long celebration of learning beyond the classroom.

The celebrations commenced with a grand cultural procession that set the tone for the evening, reflecting India’s rich and diverse heritage. Through student-led narratives, music, and traditional performances, the procession highlighted themes of unity in diversity, cultural pride, and collective identity—values central to the school’s educational philosophy.

AFFLATUS 2025 stood out for its seamless integration of creativity and technology. Interactive digital panels, QR-enabled brochures, and student-led digital initiatives enhanced engagement and storytelling throughout the event. Prominent student platforms, including Yuva Bharati – Voice of JIRS, the school’s student podcast, JAINspire, the annual magazine, and JIRS News 2025–26, presented a dynamic overview of the institution’s academic, co-curricular, and community milestones over the past year.

The campus was transformed into multiple thematic zones that celebrated interdisciplinary learning and innovation. Highlights included Shandga, an art gallery showcasing student artwork, and Vigyaan, a science exhibition demonstrating inquiry-based learning and innovation. Cultural performances such as Suranjali, a musical symphony, and Nrityanjali, a dance showcase, were complemented by a fashion show and high-energy flash mobs. The Ashmitha Theatre Group delivered a contemporary interpretation of the Ramayana alongside Operation Sindoor, a moving tribute performance that resonated strongly with the audience.

The event also recognised student excellence through awards honouring outstanding achievements in academics, sports, arts, and cultural pursuits. Parents and guests actively participated in interactive games and recreational activities, contributing to the lively and inclusive atmosphere of the celebration.

Reflecting on the significance of the event, a senior organiser from JIRS stated, “AFFLATUS 2025 is not merely an annual celebration; it is a reflection of our commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals. The event encapsulates our belief that education must inspire creativity, cultural awareness, and character alongside academic excellence.”
