Bengaluru, 18 January 2025: The school community came together on 18 January 2025 to bid an emotional farewell to the graduating Grade XII students of the CBSE and IBDP curricula in a celebratory event titled Eclipsed Parts. The ceremony, held at the Hockey Ground from 6 PM IST onwards, was organised by the Grade XI students under the guidance of the organising committee.
The evening aimed to celebrate the achievements of the graduating cohort, provide a platform to express gratitude, and strengthen the bonds between students, teachers, and peers. The farewell also encouraged reflection on personal journeys, lessons learned, and the lasting impact of school life.
The venue was transformed into a magical setting adorned with starry and fairy lights, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. Students arrived in vibrant attire, adding to the evening’s charm. The event featured the presentation of innovative titles such as Mr. and Ms. Farewell, Best Napper, and Mr. Pookie, recognising the graduates' unique traits and contributions. A diverse spread of culinary delights, including unique desserts, a chocolate fountain, waffles, and soda counters, added to the celebratory spirit.
The highlight of the evening was an energetic dance performance that brought joy and nostalgia to the gathering. A photo booth, complete with Polaroid keepsakes, allowed students to capture the moment with friends and mentors. The event concluded with heartfelt exchanges of gratitude, pride in academic accomplishments, and warm goodbyes, leaving an indelible mark on all attendees.
Speaking about the event, a representative from the organising committee said, “Farewell is not merely about saying goodbye; it is a celebration of journeys, friendships, and the promise of new beginnings. We wanted this evening to be a memory our seniors will cherish as they step into the next chapter of their lives.”
The Eclipsed Parts farewell encapsulated the spirit of transition, marking the end of one chapter while inspiring graduates to embrace new opportunities with confidence and hope. The event served as both a reflection of the past and a launchpad for future aspirations.
